Sr. Manager of Sales & Operational Planning

Smalls is looking for a Sr Manager of S&OP to own and operationalize our integrated planning process. You’ll be the connective tissue between Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing, Finance and Retail functions — ensuring that we align customer needs, inventory strategies, and financial goals across a multi-channel, frozen/ambient logistics environment.What You’ll Do:Create, own and maintain the company demand & supply planning model, continuously iterating on assumptions and underlying analysisDrive cross-functional alignment around forecasts and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned when unexpected issues ariseOversee production & inbound plans across 7 manufacturers and 3 DCsOptimize inventory positions across all SKUs (finished goods and raw materials) to avoid out-of-stock events while minimizing cash tied up in inventory and holding costsLead weekly inventory planning process & meetings, collaborating with Procurement and Supply Chain to execute according to planPerform any relevant analysis needed to investigate forecasting anomalies and communicate any issues to leadershipLead business case developments, scenario modeling and any ad-hoc analysis as needed within the Supply Chain teamDevelop, monitor and report on forecasting metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, weeks on hand goals, out-of-stock events etcMonitor and report on other Supply Chain KPIs - such as On Time Delivery, Quality metrics, Unit COGS etcCollaborate with Finance to tie operational plans to margin and cashflow targetsSupport on any other Supply Chain initiatives as needed - such as continuous improvement projects, MRP integrations etcBuild out and grow the Inventory Planning function within Supply ChainWhat We’ll Love About You:You have worked 10 years or more in operations, supply chain, demand planning, or related roles, with a focus on forecasting and analysisYou’re a pro in demand planning tools, inventory management systems and dashboardsYou’re a true expert in Excel and Google SheetsYou have proven success in leading cross-functional planning in fast-paced, continuously evolving, SKU-heavy environmentsYou are a strong communicator who thrives in ambiguity and drives decisions with clarity & dataYou are highly organized, love to build process, and obsessed with getting in the details.Huge Plus: You have a degree in Operations management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Finance or any other math related fieldHuge Plus: You have experience in DTC, CPG, frozen foods or pet nutritionWhat you’ll love about us:Mission-Driven Company: We love cats and we're here to make nine lives ten.People-Driven Company: We treat our people like people; we're committed to Smalls, and we work hard but also respect everyone’s lives outside of work.Data-Driven Culture: We love using data to guide decision-making where appropriate, but we also know when to move quickly and go with our gut.Competitive Salary: Make some $$$.Very Competitive Benefits: Fully paid Health, Vision, and Dental insurance. 4-day work week.
