Sr. Lead Unix/Linux Administrator
We are looking for an experienced, talented, and enthusiastic Sr. Lead Unix/Linux Administrator to join our team at CenturyLink. As an organization committed to providing innovative products and services to our customers, we are seeking a candidate who can bring their expertise and enthusiasm to our environment. The successful candidate will be a driven, self-motivated team player who can quickly develop and maintain strong working relationships with our customers and colleagues. The ideal applicant should have a wealth of experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Unix/Linux systems in a production environment.Required Qualifications:⢠Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science or related field⢠8+ years of experience administering Unix/Linux systems, including Red Hat and CentOS⢠Strong knowledge of system administration best practices and scripting languages⢠Proficient in troubleshooting system performance issues⢠Excellent customer service and communication skills⢠Ability to work independently and as part of a team⢠Certification in Unix/Linux is a plus
