You’ll work closely with a Technical Lead on complex technical challenges (75% of your time) and support Principal Investigators (PhDs, doctors, and educators) in transforming research goals into technical solutions (25% of your time).This role requires strong expertise in both iOS and backend systems, with a particular focus on Swift and Node.js, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and research-driven teams.Essential Duties Responsibilities:Translate and refactor Node.js logic into high-quality Swift code for iOSLead iOS development efforts with a focus on stability, performance, and complianceTroubleshoot and remediate issues, ensuring robust system behaviorManage and execute the App Store release process in line with Apple’s guidelinesCollaborate with an Azure-based backend to ensure smooth integration with mobile featuresSupport data-driven features in collaboration with data science teams using AWS SageMakerPartner with Principal Investigators to understand and translate research needs into scalable, maintainable solutionsProvide expert technical support and guidance to non-technical stakeholdersQualifications:Extensive experience in Swift and native iOS developmentStrong proficiency in Node.js, especially for system integration and logic translationFamiliarity with Azure backend environments and APIsProven track record of managing App Store deployments and app lifecycle maintenanceStrong problem-solving mindset and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, especially when interacting with non-technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with machine learning models or data-centric applicationsExposure to AWS SageMaker or similar cloud-based ML servicesBackground in research, healthcare, or academic environmentsFair decisions, free of biasWe guarantee a recruitment process based on skills, qualifications, and working experience.
