About the Role
InMarket is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to deepen their experience while growing their career in HR. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of HR, the Sr. HR Generalist will also contribute to operational projects and process documentation in collaboration with the wider People Ops team and other cross-functional teams. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to be agile and adapt amidst changing priorities. An ideal candidate will have experience using data and process to drive decision making, and must be comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Your daily impact as a Sr. HR Generalist

Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR functions, including but not limited to performance management, employee relations and investigations, engagement, leaves of absences, and training & development
Oversee and maintain employee personnel files and records, assist with employee changes, performance reviews, etc.
Support People-related projects, including process improvements, compliance audits, and implementation of new tools or systems
Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes with a high degree of empathy and care
Onboard InMarketeers via Cleary & ADP as the first point of contact, providing them a welcoming employee experience while assisting in immersing them into our culture
Partner with department leads and team managers on overarching employee engagement initiatives
Participate in developing and implementing organizational guidelines and procedures
Promote HR programs and initiatives to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Embody InMarket’s company values and actively support InMarket’s Culture Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Committee
Facilitate and manage employee performance improvement plans
Develop and maintain custom reports to support People metrics and company-wide reporting needs
Assist in the full immigration processes for OPT, H-1B, and green card sponsored employees and candidates

Your Experience and Expertise

3-5 years of HR experience
Experience in working in a payroll system such as ADP
Working knowledge of federal and California and National employment law
Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft products
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Haves

Experience using HR software such as ADP Workforce Now, Ethena, ChartHop, Asana, and Cleary
Experience supporting a remote workforce in a multi-state company
Bachelor's degree

For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $86,375 to $102,751.
Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Base salary is just one component of InMarket’s total rewards package that also may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
