Position: Sr Data Modeler with (Healthcare domain experience) Remote Location: Germany Overview Sr Data Modeler with Healthcare domain experience Remote Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Experience level: 10+ years Role Overview The Data Modeler is responsible for designing, developing and managing the data models that support operational, real-time and analytical applications. The Data Modeler will work in a collaborative team environment to assess requirements, define data modelling strategy and deliver solutions. The Data Modeler must also have a strong hands-on experience in designing business data model (Conceptual Model) aligning and mapping across HL7, FHIR and IBM UDMH with strong Healthcare domain knowledge. Responsibilities • Design/Develop/Maintain data models (including Business/Conceptual, Logical and Physical models) that support operational, real-time and analytical applications • Create optimized data designs that facilitate consistency, reuse and ensure efficient storage and retrieval and limit data duplications • Developing models in IBM IDA tool • Use data modeling to create a common language with visual references to describe data and its relationships across business domains • Design and map business entities/attributes across HL7, FHIR and IBM UDMH • Design and map logical/physical entities/attributes across HL7, FHIR and IBM UDMH • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions for data cleansing and enrichment • Establishs team operational plans, develops/implements new processes, standards, and operational plans that impact results, develops technical roadmaps • Collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure timely, high quality solutions • Model/fine tune data models for relational, columnar and no-sql databases • Perform Source to bolthires mapping (covering conceptual, logical and physical models) • Influences others in technical decision-making / technology adoption in assigned domain • Arrive at solutions including data flow diagrams, process diagrams, use case models as required Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field • 10+ years of experience in data and analytical engagements with at least 5 years in data modeling role • Healthcare domain experience • Advanced knowledge in data modeling techniques such as Business process Model, Entity Relationship, dimensional modeling, data vault, etc • Implementation experience in cloud architecture patterns particularly in GCP • Strong SQL and programming language experience • Experience in Git, Jira and Confluence tools • Comprehensive knowledge of agile development methodologies • Hands on experience in ERWin, IBM IDA tools • Demonstrated experience modelling for real time applications • Ability to collaborate across multiple work locations/teams • Ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete information • Advanced verbal / written / presentation skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
