Required Skills & Experience:
Ā 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, with a strong preference for experience with Medicaid/Medicare programs.
Ā Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Ā 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for dashboard development and reporting.
Ā Experience with GIS/mapping tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) for geographic access analysis.
Ā Knowledge of healthcare compliance and quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Data Analysis & Reporting:
Ā Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to member utilization, provider performance, and program effectiveness.
Ā Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Tableau to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards program goals.
Ā Analyze provider network data to assess adequacy, identify gaps in service delivery, and support network development initiatives.
Ā Statistical Modeling:
Ā Utilize statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis, predictive modeling) to forecast trends, identify risk factors, and inform data-driven decision-making.
Ā Compliance & Quality Monitoring:
Ā Support compliance efforts by analyzing data to identify potential issues and track key performance metrics related to quality of care, member satisfaction, and regulatory requirements.
Ā Prepare and submit required reports to state and federal agencies.
Ā Geographic Access Analysis:
Ā Utilize GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) to analyze geographic access to care, identify underserved populations, and support the development of effective service delivery models.
Ā Project Support:
Ā Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinical, operations, network development) to support the successful implementation and ongoing management
Ā Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
Qualifications:
Ā Master's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
Ā Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Ā Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ā Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Ā Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.
Ā Experience with Python or R (preferred).
