Position Location
This role is available in the Bay Area, CA.
Time Zone Requirements
The team operates in either East/West Coast time zones.
Travel Requirements
This team has regular onsite collaboration sessions. These occur several times per year and span consecutive days in the Bay Area, CA.
What will you do?
Develop and run Credit Programs
You will take ownership of multiple credit programs. Prime runs in conjunction with our embedded finance partners to run the financial aspects of the program from end to end. Your role is critical for the success of these partnerships and our lending business as a whole and you will work closely with your manager and team to scale up Prime’s ability to efficiently and effectively scale up the number and complexity of partners and products Prime can work with. Specific responsibilities include:
• Financial Product Innovation: In conjunction with the broader team, you will identify the best products suitable for a new or existing partner and build the business case to bring it to market. You will then work with the technical teams to make it available to our prospective customers.
• Credit Policy Development: Every partner deserves a customized solution tailored to their particular needs. You will partner closely with our data science team to incorporate insights about the partners data sources and customer population into a credit policy that will meet our collective goals.
• Manual Underwriting: Ideally all of our applicants will be handled by our automated systems and processes, but realistically we will always have a few that require manual intervention. You will work with the established policies for manual underwriting to make decisions as necessary and contribute to future iterations of our manual underwriting policies.
• Continuous Monitoring: You will own the monitoring for your partners and work with others on the team to enhance the automation and insights generated through the process. You will work with other partners as necessary to fix potential problems and overall improve the process.
• Continuous Testing: You will own the testing agenda for your partners and develop and run various types of tests (marketing/underwriting/etc.) as necessary to drive our collective team goals as necessary.

Contribute to various high-impact data science and product workstreams
At Prime, we believe that our innovative decisioning algorithms combined with our user-friendly platform will be key to approving more small businesses for financing. In this role, you will work closely with our product engineers and data scientists to:
• Support critical data science work streams currently underway
• Prioritize data science work streams and timelines
• Identify and drive independent research that can help us move faster
• Support testing of our products including onboarding prospects onto our application
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements
• Quantitative degree (Math, Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration)
• 2+ years working experiences as a credit, business or operations analyst
• 2+ years experience in developing and recommending strategies using quantitative methods
• Keen ability to frame business decisions and tradeoffs effectively through quantitative analysis and visualization
• Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas succinctly and work effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with lending products
• 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
• Fintech / start up experience
• Experience with working with SMBs
• Proficiency with Python
