Sr. Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Healthcare or Life Sciences to lead requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process analysis, and solution design for healthcare technology initiatives. The candidate will partner with cross‑functional teams across business, IT, and product to drive high‑quality delivery of digital and operational transformation projects.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & RequirementsLead end-to-end business analysis activities for healthcare projects—requirements gathering, documentation, validation, and sign-off.Conduct detailed AS-IS and TO-BE process analysis, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.Translate business needs into clear and structured business requirements (BRDs), functional requirements (FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.Support solution design discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, clinicians, operations teams, and IT teams.Facilitate requirement workshops, JAD sessions, user interviews, and cross-functional meetings.Manage expectations, communicate project risks, and ensure timely decision-making.Healthcare Domain ExpertiseStrong understanding of healthcare operations, payer-provider workflows, regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPAA, FDA guidelines, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, etc.).Experience in one or more areas:Provider Network ManagementClaims ProcessingPatient Engagement / Care ManagementMedical Records & EMR/EHR SystemsClinical Operations / R&DHealthcare AnalyticsVeeva Vault/CRM, LIMS, or other industry toolsProject DeliveryWork closely with project managers, architects, QA teams, and developers to ensure smooth and effective implementation.Support test planning, UAT coordination, and validation of delivered functionality.Ensure traceability across requirements, test cases, and delivery milestones.Contribute to project documentation, risk logs, and status reporting.QualificationsRequired Skills & Qualifications10+ years of total experience with at least 7+ years in the Healthcare or Life Sciences domain.Proven experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise-scale projects.Excellent knowledge of healthcare workflows, data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT), and regulatory environments.Strong ability to analyze complex business processes and propose practical solutions.Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office, BPM tools, etc.Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong documentation expertise with attention to detail.Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.CompanyAt Zensar, we’re “experience-led everything”.
