Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare provider networks to ensure high quality and cost-effective care for Aetna members.
Monitor and analyze healthcare industry trends and regulations to inform network development strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams such as product, sales, and operations to support network expansion and growth.
Negotiate contracts with providers, ensuring favorable terms for Aetna and its members.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement with network providers.
Manage and resolve any issues or concerns raised by network providers in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
Utilize data and analytics to identify opportunities for network optimization and cost savings.
Represent Aetna at industry conferences and events to network and promote the company's mission and values.
Mentor and train junior team members to ensure a high level of performance and development within the network relations team.
