The Role Cameco is looking for a subject matter expert in the area of IT security to work with a group of talented and dedicated individuals to ensure our global IT systems are secure and controlled. As a member of this team you will play a critical role in contributing to the success of the business technology services (BTS) department and their goal to provide technological solutions that maximize business value while minimizing risk. In this role, you will: Provide technical security expertise to IT projects. Complete security reviews of new applications (on-premises and cloud). Complete tasks related to security governance and compliance (e.g., security baselines, change reviews). Complete sustainment tasks related to maintain implemented security tools. Implement security solutions and process improvements. Required: bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; minimum ten years of relevant IT security experience in diverse roles; equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; experience in cloud security configuration of cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure); knowledge of security architecture principles; and proven track record in configuring and maintaining security tools such as: SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, etc) XDR/EDR Platforms (Cisco, Microsoft, Trend Micro, Fidelis, Crowdstrike, etc) PAM (CyberArk, Beyond Trust, etc) Secure web gateway and cloud access security broker (Netskope, Zscalar, etc) Identity and access management (AD, Entra, Okta, Ping, etc) Secure dev Ops (Jenkins, terraform, etc) Generative AI security guardrails Recommended: CISSP.
