Position Summary: Aetna Medicaid Administrators, LLC., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Analyst, Informatics to analyze data to develop, customize and maintain solutions to address complex web application, system infrastructure, and operational issues. Duties include: provide informatics and data engineering support for all phases of application systems analysis and programming; provide operational and production support for web applications, data processes, databases, reports, and dashboards; formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects; devise procedures to solve complex problems including automation to ensure systems are operating as expected; prepare program and system design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation; support business application and project design to ensure successful release with a focus on cross-application integration and solutions; utilize SAS, SQL Server, DB2 and TERADATA databases, Business Objects, and SQL coding; coordinate and plan ongoing and scheduled system maintenance activities and assist team members providing system maintenance, research, problem resolution and support tasks; analyze the potential impact of changes that technology and products may have on the business and computing environments; evaluate and identify technical constraints and coordinate evaluation of solutions that adhere to technology standards; use healthcare, medical, pharmacy, lab, survey, and utilization data to evaluate programs and product solutions; extract data from multiple sources, create integrated analytics datasets, and create reports to address business and research questions; develop, validate, and execute algorithms and predictive models to solve business problems; utilize univariate and multivariate statistical analyses and interpret results; participate in presentations on information services, capabilities, and performance results, and document and present findings on methods, specifications, and root causes; and create and evaluate the data needs of assigned projects, ensure the integrity of the data, develop project plans and timelines, and meet commitments to quality and on-time deliverables. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following:
• Java, Python, or Node.js;
• Oracle, Redis, or Cassandra database;
• CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps;
• Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles;
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• Software testing, quality assurance and troubleshooting;
• Writing application code and deploying to production;
• Relational database concepts;
• Writing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes;
• Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases;
• Data warehousing;
• Developing data and analytics-based platform capabilities, services, or products; and
• Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives.

Pay Range: $98571.00/year to $102920.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
