What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform research and analysis of complex healthcare claims, pharmacy, and lab data
- Develop ad-hoc and standard reports using SQL and other analytic tools
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely project completion and data collection
- Analyze data sets for anomalies and trends, providing executive summaries to requestors
- Maintain SharePoint sites and document reporting processes and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of increasingly complex database and data management experience
- 5-7 years of experience in quantifying, measuring, and analyzing financial and performance metrics
- Strong hands-on experience with MS Azure, Databricks, Salesforce, SQL, and Power BI
- Demonstrated healthcare experience in analyzing financial and utilization metrics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Medical Economics and knowledge of performance indicators
- Ability to identify and investigate complex medical cost issues
- Skills in predictive modeling and healthcare analytics
- Experience as a Healthcare Analyst I or Financial/Accounting Analyst I
- Familiarity with multiple data systems and models
