As a Sr. Accountant, you will be instrumental in analyzing and reconciling accounting data, creating tools for data correction, and working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects. This role is within the government accounting sector and requires an in-depth understanding of governmental accounting/finance.Responsibilities:? Utilize your extensive experience in FLAIR for ledger management and financial reporting? Apply your advanced knowledge of financial accounting and GAAP in various tasks? Analyze and reconcile complex accounting data from different sources? Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, investigating causes, and proposing corrective actions? Create effective tools for accurate correction of data inconsistencies? Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects? Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements? Utilize Microsoft Excel and other technical skills to analyze large sets of complex accounting data? Implement and review financial management strategies? Handle department records and prepare statements of work as per the requirements.
