Squarespace UX/UI Designer Needed to Create Replicable Landing-Style Microsite Template (2–3 Pages)

Remote Full-time
Description:

We’re looking for a UX/UI designer with strong Squarespace experience to help us create a clean, modern, and highly replicable microsite template (2–3 pages).

These microsites function like evergreen landing pages. They’re essentially “brochure” sites — clear messaging, strong hierarchy, conversion-focused, and easy to duplicate for future initiatives.

This is not a large website build. It’s a focused design challenge: create a polished, conversion-oriented template we can reuse again and again inside Squarespace.

What we need:

• A redesigned homepage layout optimized like a landing page (strong above-the-fold section, clear CTA, clear value proposition)

• 1–2 supporting interior page templates that follow a consistent system

• Improved visual hierarchy so headline, subheading, and CTA are visible without scrolling

• More intentional proportions between banner image, text blocks, and supporting sections

• Cleaner spacing (eliminate awkward white space and inconsistent margins)

• Refined button styling that aligns with our brand

• A footer that feels designed — not tacked on

• More thoughtful use of our brand color palette across section backgrounds

• Stronger overall brand integration

What’s not working in our current template:

• Banner image feels oversized

• Header content sits too low

• CTA requires scrolling

• Sections feel disproportionate

• White space feels unintentional

• Buttons feel stylistically disconnected

• Navigation placement feels awkward

• Footer feels like an afterthought

Deliverables:

• Final Squarespace template (homepage + 1–2 interior page layouts)

• Clear spacing, hierarchy, and color system we can replicate

• A repeatable framework that allows us to swap content easily without breaking the design

Ideal candidate:

• Proven Squarespace UX/UI portfolio

• Strong understanding of landing page best practices

• Excellent eye for spacing, proportion, and hierarchy

• Comfortable working within Squarespace constraints (no heavy custom development needed)

• Able to create systems, not just one-off designs

To apply:

Please share 2–3 Squarespace sites you’ve designed and briefly explain what you improved from a UX or conversion standpoint.
