Senior PR & Communications ManagerProduct & TechOverviewWe’re looking for an innovative Senior PR Manager, Product & Tech Communications to support the development and rollout of key product, feature, and UI narratives around Spotify's industry-leading platform. In this role, you will develop and implement global product communications strategies that enhance the user experience both on and off platform. You will also play a key role in managing and mitigating public affairs, corporate, product, and technology communications issues.What You'll DoLead global product and partner communications strategiesLead strategy and development in always-on, proactive storytelling around Spotify’s hero featuresLead crisis and issue management related to product and tech commsDevelop crisis communication strategies as they relate to product and user experienceSupport major marketing initiatives around product features, generating press and influencer momentsWork directly with internal spokespeople and senior leadership on announcements, speaking opportunities, events, and broader storytellingWork closely with internal partners across the business to develop product narratives and global strategiesManage external agency partnersWork alongside market communications leads to the development of strategies and plans that can be implemented at a local levelLeverage strong media, social, and influencer relationshipsWho You Are7+ years relevant communications experience in consumer PR, entertainment or technologyOrganized, thorough, and able to work on multiple projects while maintaining deadlinesStrong partner management and leadership skillsStrong tech, consumer media, and social editor relationshipsTech influencer relationships and an understanding of the tech influencer landscapeProven track record of developing and implementing holistic communications strategies and plans at a global scaleExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong strategic and resourceful problem-solverExperience in crisis managementExperience working across AI-related features and overall knowledge of the AI landscapeAbility to work in a hectic and extremely fast-moving global industry and environmentStandout colleague who can work autonomously while thinking globally and executing locallyCreative problem solver to assist in ideation of campaigns, product launches, and always-on storytellingKnowledgeable about news and trends in the technology and audio spaceWhere You'll BeThis role is based in New York City or Los AngelesWe offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave.
