Sports Betting / Traders
Description
This is a new position for traders that understand the Sportsbook business across various books as well as an understanding of the US Stock Market.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
ā¢ Develop visualizations, reports, and presentations of project results
ā¢ Conduct research and identify problematic areas to determine the best course of action to correct the data
ā¢ Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
ā¢ Report on how recommendations have impacted trading
ā¢ Understand business processes and how the events in those processes are recorded in the data
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
ā¢ Very good verbal reasoning skills
ā¢ Currently trading the US Markets
ā¢ A good knowledge of sportsbooks and trading
ā¢ Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand and query data
ā¢ Good problem-solving ability
ā¢ Able to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once
ā¢ Willingness to learn new software
ā¢ Programming skills, API and FIX connections a plus
