Your future role at a glance: Location: Remote Department: Compliance Schedule: Full time, Days Salary range: $29.74- 40.23 per hour #LI-Remote How you'll make an impact in this role: • Audit Records: Perform coder audits based on the established system plan. • Report Results: Distribute audit findings to the appropriate stakeholders. • Improvement Plans: Create corrective actions for coding, billing, and documentation issues. • Trend Analysis: Identify patterns to find specific educational needs. • Education & Support: Present training programs and help manage high-risk compliance monitoring. What minimum qualifications you'll need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credentialed from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. • Reg Health Info Admnstr credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. • Reg Health Info Tech credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. Education: • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. Work Experience: • 1 year of experience required.
