Special Education Teacher Online | North Carolina
Seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide onsite instructional support in a school setting located in Elizabeth City, NC. This contract position involves managing a caseload of 20-25 students, delivering tailored education services while adhering to individual learning plans.
Responsibilities include:
ā¢ Delivering specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
ā¢ Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
ā¢ Collaborating with school staff to monitor student progress
ā¢ Utilizing telehealth methods to support special education services when appropriate
ā¢ Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with families
Desired qualifications:
ā¢ Valid Special Education teaching certification
ā¢ Experience managing a caseload of special education students
ā¢ Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
ā¢ Ability to work within a structured school schedule
ā¢ Effective communication and organizational skills
Work schedule is from 7:50 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This role focuses on providing direct support to students in a classroom environment, supported by occasional telehealth interactions as needed.
