Job Responsibilities...
Ā Teach in resource and general education classrooms with up to 25 students, 33% of whom may be Special Education students.
Ā Provide individualized instruction and support for students with learning disabilities.
Ā Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Ā Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.
Ā Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
Ā For high school positions, provide support to medically fragile and low-functioning students in smaller classroom settings (8-12 students).
Qualifications:
Ā Active Special Education teaching license in the State of Kansas.
Ā Experience in developing and implementing IEPs is preferred.
Ā Ability to manage diverse classroom environments and support students with a range of learning disabilities.
Ā Strong collaboration and communication skills.
