Key Responsibilities
Ā Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
Ā Deliver interactive and engaging online lessons using a variety of digital platforms and tools.
Ā Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and provide necessary accommodations.
Ā Conduct virtual assessments and regularly monitor student progress to ensure they are meeting their educational goals.
Ā Communicate effectively and regularly with parents, students, and team members to provide updates and support.
Ā Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and educational activities.
Ā Participate in virtual team meetings and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Ā Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred).
Ā Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement.
Ā At least 2 years of experience in special education.
Ā Proficiency in using educational technology and virtual learning platforms.
Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ā Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ā Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse needs.
