Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with varying needs.
Lead interactive online classes and personalized one-on-one sessions to enhance student learning.
Customize curriculum resources to align with each students unique learning requirements.
Administer and analyze educational assessments within a digital environment.
Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and support staff to support student achievement.
Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and intervention strategies.
Participate actively in virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and goals.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Special Education.
Current state teaching license with a special education endorsement.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in special education, ideally within an online setting.
Proficiency in using assistive technology and digital learning tools to enhance student learning.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students, families, and colleagues.
Ability to inspire and motivate students in a virtual environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
