• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher highly valued

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Compassion, adaptability, and collaborative mindset to support students with various exceptionalities
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver targeted instruction and support in K-12 general and alternative school settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEPs for each assigned student
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related services providers, and families to foster student growth
• Utilize data to inform instruction and adapt strategies for academic, emotional, and social development
• Support a safe, structured classroom climate, especially within programs for students exhibiting severe behaviors
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
