SPE-Accounts Payable This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States. Job Overview: Cognizant is a leading global professional services company, transforming clients’ business, operating, and technology models for the digital era. As part of our dynamic team, this role involves processing vendor invoices—including PO, Non-PO, and Excel uploads—within the agreed SLA or prior to the due date. Responsibilities include managing and processing multi-line invoices, rectifying errors in the vendor master, and engaging with Business Units/vendors to resolve simple exceptions. The role also involves handling inbound and outbound calls related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Travel & Expense (T&E). Responsibilities • Ensure adherence to documented process guidelines. • Meet process SLAs, metrics, productivity, and quality targets within established timelines. • Timely escalation of process-related issues to the process lead and team lead. • Resolve process-related queries, expedite data requests, and escalate for resolution as needed. • Follow shift handover protocols diligently. • Comply with organizational security practices. • Execute small-scale process improvement initiatives. • Maintain records of production statistics and end-user notes as appropriate. • Contribute to knowledge updates and remain current with process changes. • Ensure SOPs are updated regularly. • Provide timely updates and submit reports pertaining to own area of work. Requirements • AP Experience • Helpdesk Experience • T&E (good to have) • Strong Excel expertise The hourly rate for this position is $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
