About the position

The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) at BBA Insurance plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to clients in the personal lines division. This position involves assisting clients with their insurance needs, managing accounts, processing policy changes, and supporting claims. The CSR will collaborate closely with account managers and underwriters to ensure client satisfaction and retention, while also maintaining a thorough understanding of personal lines insurance products.

Responsibilities
• Assist clients with claim submissions and provide status updates.

• Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

• Process and manage personal lines insurance policies.

• Work closely with underwriters and agents to ensure smooth processing of policies.

• Enter and update client information in the company's database and CRM system.

• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding policy changes and billing.

• Prepare, review, and file insurance documents for accuracy and compliance.

• Address client concerns and work with relevant departments to find solutions.

• Provide clients with billing information and assist with payment-related inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in personal lines insurance.

• Prior knowledge of policy management, quoting, or claims handling in personal lines insurance.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and products.

• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality customer support.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
