Space Planner/ Campus Planning Analyst

They are seeking a Space Planner/ Campus Planning Analyst to analyze space utilization and support comprehensive campus and facility planning projects for colleges and universities across the country.ResponsibilitiesInteract and coordinate with the national DLR Group Campus Planning Team, our institutional clients, and other firmwide planners to ensure the Group’s space analytics and planning are consistent with and support broader institutional and project goals and strategiesAnalyze data (including space utilization) and communicate findings with graphicsCollaborate to create processes that support efficiency and accuracy in our analysisDevelop and present findings to clientsCollaborate with architecture and interiors team members to ensure that priority space needs are accommodated within proposed design solutionsDevelop space planning reference materials, including quantitative and qualitative benchmarksSkillsBachelor's degree in any fieldStrong knowledge base in Excel, PowerBI, Qualtrics, etcAbility to analyze patterns across systems and scalesPossess excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skillsInnate curiosity and continual willingness to learnAbility to balance high-intensity tasks and competing prioritiesAbility to work across multiple time zones with a national team and clients located from Eastern to Pacific time zonesMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAbility and willingness to travel and support work outside of regionDual degree or multidisciplinary experienceMaster's Degree or comparable experience in Campus Planning, Architecture, Facilities Planning, Facilities Management, Higher Education Management or other fieldExperience with codingExperience in higher education facilities space planningKnowledge of best practices for facility space assessments, facilities management, space analytics, and academic and student life space programmingKnowledge of Higher Ed academic organizational structures, workflow, and operating proceduresExperience with planning graphics or data visualization software's e.g. Tableau, Adobe Creative SuiteBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionDisabilityWellness programsFlex spendingPaid holidaysPaid time off401(k) planEmployee stock ownershipBonus opportunitiesCompany OverviewDLR Group is a full-service design business that specializes in new construction architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning.
