### Job Description:
As a Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an ambassador of our beloved brand. You will ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers while maintaining compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Daily duties involve preflight briefings, safety demonstrations, on-board service delivery, and post-flight assessments.
### Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for passengers.
– Demonstrate emergency and safety procedures such as the use of seat belts, oxygen masks, and life jackets.
– Provide friendly customer service and respond to passengers’ inquiries and needs.
– Serve beverages, snacks, or meals and sell onboard merchandise.
– Assist special needs passengers, including children, elderly, or individuals with disabilities.
– Administer and coordinate in-flight emergencies as needed and provide first aid.
– Complete all post-flight duties, including reconciling onboard sales and reporting any incidents.
### Requirements:
– Minimum age of 20 years.
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous.
– Ability to pass a rigorous training program and a background check.
– Compliance with our appearance standards.
– The flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
– Must be able to reach overhead bins and stand for long periods.
### Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience in customer service or hospitality.
– Multilingual skills are a plus.
### Educational Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
– Further certifications in hospitality, safety, or customer service are appreciated but not mandatory.
