**Description:**
As a Southwest Airlines Cabin Crew Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers. Your duties will include preparing the cabin for flights, greeting passengers, performing safety demonstrations, serving snacks and beverages, and maintaining a clean cabin. You will be trained to handle various in-flight situations and to provide exceptional customer service to create memorable travel experiences.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks.
– Greet passengers and assist with seating arrangements and luggage storage.
– Demonstrate emergency and safety procedures.
– Serve beverages, snacks, and meals.
– Address passengers’ inquiries and concerns.
– Manage in-flight sales of duty-free goods.
– Ensure compliance with all aviation rules and regulations.
– Maintain a tidy and organized cabin throughout the flight.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 18 years.
– High School Diploma or GED.
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
– Capable of physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and pulling/pushing heavy equipment.
– Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
– Must be adaptable, with a positive demeanor and a focus on customer service.
– Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
**Educational Qualifications:**
– A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
– Further certifications in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not necessary.
**Experience:**
– No prior experience in cabin crew roles is necessary. Comprehensive paid training will be provided.
