Sourcing Manager

Our client, a leading organization in healthcare distribution, is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join their team. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sourcing Manager Location: Mendota Heights, MN- open to remote Pay Range:$45/hr Contract to hire What's the Job? • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for private label healthcare products, focusing on cost, quality, and supply chain efficiency. • Lead cost modeling and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization. • Conduct competitive bidding processes to select the best suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service performance. • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and finance to meet product specifications and standards. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and monitor their performance using KPIs and SLAs to ensure compliance and operational excellence. What's Needed? • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries. • At least 3 years of experience managing private label categories with a proven track record in vendor negotiations, cost management, and product development. • Strong knowledge of cost modeling techniques and competitive sourcing processes such as RFP, RFQ, and RFIs. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with proficiency in sourcing tools, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
