About the position

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Solutions & Quality Analyst to join our team. This role supports the product organization by ensuring product quality and contributing to the design of scalable, user-centric solutions. It blends quality control, technical analysis, and solution architecture. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business users to understand requirements, propose structured solutions, and track project delivery under guidance from senior architects. You will also help strengthen the adoption of the firm’s quality framework across the product development lifecycle. This is a hands-on, dynamic role ideal for a technically strong candidate interested in expanding their clearing business knowledge and growing within a fast-paced product organization.

Responsibilities
• Solution Development & Architecture Support: Assist in collecting and analyzing business and technical requirements, helping transform them into clear, testable, scalable and measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to implementation documentation, including diagrams, process flows, acceptance criteria and user stories, under the direction of senior solution architects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, business stakeholders and engineers to refine project scope and outcomes.
• Participate in requirements grooming and ensure they are technically robust and testable.
• Communicate status, challenges and delivery timelines clearly to the projects’ key stakeholders.
• Technical Implementation: Coordinate with Project Management and cross-functional product managers to ensure owned initiatives meet Apex tracking and testing standards ( e.g., Jira workflow, test evidence, release gates).
• Escalate blockers to senior solution architects and help remove them tactically and strategically.
• Own the planning and execution of end-to-end test scenarios for assigned features; conduct independent risk and impact analysis with results reviewed by senior architects.
• Quality Control : Assist in performing and monitoring quality checks on data, processes, product releases to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Drive the gathering, refinement, and automation of metrics for the quality framework and its adoption.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business subject matter experts to adopt quality framework and standards.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required
• 1–3 years of experience in product, operations, middle office, QA, or business analysis; Financial Services/clearing experience preferred.
• FINRA SIE preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment).

Nice-to-haves
• Ability to understand and map business concepts and flows and communicate them effectively to product and engineering stakeholders.
• Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools (Excel, SQL, Jira, Confluence, AI tools)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable; strong time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, self-starter mentality with high level of ownership; able to work independently to gather information, make decisions, and drive results.
• Basic understanding of user experience, web development, or API standards, with strong interest in learning best practices and incremental delivery.
• Exposure to QA practices (test plans, test cases, defect lifecycle) and quality metrics is a plus.

Benefits
• healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision, EAP)
• competitive PTO
• 401k match
• parental leave
• HSA contribution match
• paid subscription to the Calm app
• generous external learning and tuition reimbursement benefits
