Position Overview
Flock Safety is an all-in-one, maintenance-free technology platform aimed at eliminating crime and keeping communities safe. Trusted by cities, schools, businesses, and law enforcement agencies nationwide, Flock transforms unbiased data into actionable evidence to solve, deter, and reduce crime. In this role as a Solution Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor embedded within the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives to understand customer pain points and design tailored deployment strategies that deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
Leading discovery sessions to identify key customer requirements, success metrics, and process gaps.
Aligning tailored demonstrations, success stories, and technical discussions with customer value metrics.
Designing deployment strategies that integrate Flock’s platform with existing workflows to drive operational impact.
Building Statements of Work (SOWs) and Proof of Concept (POC) plans for smooth implementations.
Effectively articulating Flock’s competitive differentiators to position the platform’s unique advantages.
Guiding customers through final sign-off, securing buy-in and commitment.
Required Qualifications
Consultative Sales & Customer Discovery – 2-5 years of sales engineering or technology sales experience.
Solution Architecture & Value Alignment – Proven ability to connect and align hardware, software, AI, and integrations to solve customer issues.
Presentation & Communication Skills – Expertise in delivering compelling in-person and virtual demonstrations while influencing key stakeholders.
Sales Enablement & Deal Execution – Experience partnering with Account Executives to accelerate deal cycles and develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and Proof of Concept (POC) plans.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical & Integration Expertise – Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and the ability to design scalable deployment strategies, with experience in real-time video, physical security, or VMS systems considered a plus.
Industry & Market Knowledge – Familiarity with public safety, security, commercial loss prevention, and crime mapping tools is beneficial.
