The Role// At Masabi, Solutions Consultants shape the design and delivery of technology that impacts millions of transit riders. Sitting at the intersection of technical problem-solving and customer success, this role blends solution design, unlocking integration paths for partners and cross-functional collaboration.You’ll engage across the full solution lifecycle, from helping scope early opportunities and respond to procurement processes, through to supporting implementations and partner integrations. You’ll collaborate closely with transit agencies, vendors and our internal teams to ensure solutions are not just desirable, but deliverable.This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where curiosity, clarity, and a collaborative approach are key. You’ll help simplify complexity, guide conversations, and support clients and colleagues alike as we build the future of public transit together.Responsibilities// From early conversations to final delivery, you’ll bring structure, clarity and confidence to every solution.Early Engagement & DiscoveryPartner with Business Development to qualify opportunities and shape customer thinkingRun collaborative discovery sessions with customers and partners to gather technical and business requirementsFacilitate solution workshops to align stakeholders around feasible, scalable designsSolution Design & ProposalsTranslate requirements into clear, practical solution architectures and data flowsOwn or contribute to RFP and proposal responses, particularly in regulated/public procurementCollaborate with Product and Engineering to assess feasibility and guide roadmap alignmentContracting & Delivery SupportTranslate solutions into robust Statements of Work (SoWs) and commercial documentationSupport third-party vendors when integrating with our platform via APIsWork with Delivery and Engineering to support smooth handoffs and solution implementationIdentify gaps in documentation or integration flows, and raise issues with the right internal teamsMarket Insight & EnablementFeed insights from customer conversations and market requirements back to internal teamsContribute to internal tooling, documentation and onboarding materials for future hires and partnersSpecialisation Paths// This role offers flexibility to develop in different directions depending on your interests:Business-Facing FocusSupport senior customer stakeholders with business case development, procurement processes, and strategic discussionsFacilitate workshops that uncover challenges and co-design meaningful solutionsTechnical FocusDeepen your knowledge of our platform and APIs to guide integration effortsDevelop artefacts (e.g. diagrams, flows) that help bridge customer needs with product capabilitiesAbout YouExperience in a technical consulting, solutions engineering or product-focused roleComfortable working with APIs, data models, and integration flowsConfident contributing to RFPs, SoWs or structured procurement responsesSkilled at guiding diverse stakeholders through complex topics and co-creating practical solutionsComfortable working across teams and navigating ambiguity with care and clarityProactive and thoughtful, you take initiative and move things forward with awareness of othersExperienced in working with enterprise or public-sector customers in complex environmentsAble to balance commercial, technical, and delivery considerations when shaping solutionsA strong communicator, clear, concise, and adaptable across technical and non-technical audiencesCommitted to building trust and acting as a strategic partner to customers and colleaguesNice to HaveExperience in transit, mobility, govtech, fintech, or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with fare collection systems or transit agency environmentsExposure to partner integrations, particularly involving third-party hardware or SaaS platformsCareers at Masabi are for people going places - driven by a mission to make transit fair and accessible for all.We are a network of innovators from all walks of life, passionate about making a difference.
