Solutions Architect – Application Networking and Security
Job Description:
• Own the strategy and execution of Application Delivery and Load Balancing across target accounts
• Engage in infrastructure modernization and application modernization conversations
• Provide expert technical pre-sales support for opportunities involving Application Networking and Delivery portfolio
• Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) exercises in customer labs to validate advanced Load Balancing and ADC solutions
• Document best practices & architectural references in developing and deploying Application Delivery portfolio
• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and Engineering during the development, launch, and continuing refinement of Application Networking and Delivery products
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of Cloud solutions, industry directions, and trends
Requirements:
• Must be Citizen and eligible for Federal Clearance
• 10+ years of experience in technology related areas
• Significant depth around designing, implementing, and managing critical business infrastructure
• Expert-level technical knowledge in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting modern Layer 4/Layer 7 Load Balancing solutions and Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs)
• Must have a working knowledge of the core VMware portfolio, particularly VCF and networking solutions
• Experience with IT automation, operations, and orchestration tools
• Experience supporting large customers and/or teams practicing agile and continuous delivery is preferred
