"We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time."Lead Solution Architect RoleDescriptionLead Solution Architect who will be working with design, research, product management and engineering teams to translate business requirements into architecture runways for application development plans which enables innovative digital solutions that will make health care more accessible, more integrated, and more reliable for more people, both online and in our stores. Candidate should have extensive application development knowledge and experience and ability to understand, evaluate and influence business need decisions. Also need to have experiences and expertise in providing architecture support in optimizing business operations.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Serve as technical architecture expert for a single value stream (e.g. Portfolio), helping to ensure successful product deliveriesManage the evolution of architectural roadmaps for your domain, showing how new features are released or updated, with an eye on paying down technical debt with minimal disruptionUnderstand the product requirement and product vision, evaluate the high-level technical feasibility, blocker or risks, lead the solution discussionWork on the overall solution engaging with other architecture colleagues on UI, API and service level with logic workflow, integration strategy and technical blueprintCommunicate and present solution to business partners and leadership, communicate and align engineering team on solution technical blueprintLead Proof-Of-Concepts and Spike Solutions, and provide “Reference Architectures” and “Baseline Implementations” when appropriateEvaluation of new technologies, vendors and hands on POCs on new or emerging technologiesProvide guidance to developers and other stakeholders on architectural best practices, guidelines, and standards. Evangelize, mentor, and coach all on the sameProvide guidance, direction and mentorship to ArchitectsProvide guidance to developers and other stakeholders regarding the design of server applications, encompassing APIs and micro-services, domain driven design, containers, databases, cloud infrastructures, and cloud servicesEnsure all Non-Functional Requirements (e.g. performance, availability and fail-over, scalability, security, etc.) are properly articulated, and work with all parties to guarantee that the software products that are delivered meet these objectivesParticipates in high-level estimationMentor and coach junior engineers and seek the opportunity to bring in continuous Improvements to implementRequired QualificationsWe require:7+ years of experience with concept of service API, caching, web component, content management, web security, SSR/CSR, micro services, identity management5+ years of hands-on consumer facing enterprise level application development experience3+ years of experience with architecting solutions for Cloud (GCP, Azure, or AWS)Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will also have:Experience and proficiency with modern languages, frameworks, and technologiesExperience with the design and development of complex systems/user interfaces; employs a disciplined and rigorous approachExperience with requirements analysis, estimation, systems and application design, and testingExperience with distributed computing architectures, including race conditions, parallelism, and concurrency controlExperience driving a build vs buy evaluation to completionExperience with JavaScript/ECMAScript ES6/ES7/ES8, UI MiddlewareExperience with packaging, bundling technologies, and library management toolsExperience with CircleCI, CI/CD Pipeline, GIT and other DevOps principlesExperience with responsive, adaptive UI design and developmentExperience with SAFE practices or able to work in SAFE practices and agile methodologiesExperience related to security-oriented projectsExperience with modern API patterns and how to build well-designed APIsEducationBachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)Kaleidoscope, an Infosys Company, is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, spouse of protected veteran, or disability.
