We hire people who stay agile as the tide ebbs and flows, fix what’s broken without waiting, chase trends before they peak, and remember to have fun through it all.What we're looking forRain is looking for a Solutions Engineer, in this role, you’ll work closely with our business, operations, and our engineering team to help prospects deeply understand Rain’s capabilities, scope technical fit, and move quickly from interest to deployment.This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends product knowledge, customer empathy, and communication skills. You’ll close the gaps between our customers and our technical roadmap, and will shape how we scale solutions engineering as Rain grows.What You'll DoLead customer implementations from technical discovery from onboarding to production deployment.Troubleshoot client technical issues and provide hands-on support for Rain's platform integrations.Support customer conversations around API capabilities and guide clients through Rain platform development.Collaborate with product and engineering to provide structured customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions.Bridge the gap between customer needs and engineering solutions, escalating and advocating for fixesWhat you will bring to Rain2+ years of technical experience in system integrations, (e.g. Solutions Engineer, Support Engineer, or Implementation Specialist)Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited programExceptional problem-solving skills and customer focus, with a proven track record of delivering successful technical solutionsStrong communication abilities to explain complex products to both technical and non-technical audiencesHands-on experience with JavaScript, SQL, and/or other programming languagesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentComfort thriving in early-stage environments where you can build processes from scratchDesirable but not mandatoryFintech experience (neobank or card issuing experience gets extra brownie points)Familiarity with financial APIs, webhook systems, and real-time payment processingBenefitsOur team works hard, so we make sure our benefits do too.
