About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Software Tester. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality performance of our Agile development team. You will conduct rigorous end-to-end functionality testing procedures to identify and rectify any issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and functionality. Additionally, your business analyst background will enable you to analyze data, gain insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic decisions for our technology offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Application Software Testing:

Design and execute comprehensive end-to-end tests for our web sites, web services and mobile applications.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the systematic evaluation of signal performance.
Identify and troubleshoot software issues, analyzing test results and recommending necessary improvements.
Collaborate with the engineering and development teams to address and resolve user functionality issues.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect and analyze performance data from software tests, generating meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate test findings to key stakeholders and management.
Continuously monitor and evaluate signal performance metrics, providing regular updates on system performance and improvements.

Business Analysis and Strategic Support:

Utilize your business analyst expertise to support strategic decision-making processes related to communication technology.
Collaborate with product managers and business development teams to define and refine product requirements.
Assist in the development of business cases and feasibility studies for new technology initiatives.

Process Improvement and Documentation:

Identify opportunities to streamline signal testing processes and enhance testing methodologies.
Contribute to the documentation of testing procedures, best practices, and standard operating guidelines.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement quality improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Proven experience in end-to-end software testing and analysis, preferably within the military industry.
Strong business analyst skills, with experience in data analysis.
Familiarity with software testing tools, software protocols, and industry standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
Proficiency in analysis tools and software (e.g., Java User Interfaces, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database, OLTP).
Proficiency in Oracle Solaris Operating system on SPARC hardware
Understanding of Continuity of Operations and Oracle Data Guard
Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
