Software Engineer (Node.js, Webservices API, PostgreSQL)
Looking for a Software Engineer to work on projects for one of our top clients. In this role, the candidate will:
Ā Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems for applications (ReactJS; NodeJS; TypeScript; JavaScript; HTML; CSS; Redux)
Ā Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications
Ā Analyze assignments and determines software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives
Ā Execute necessary documentation as needed
Ā Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs
Ā Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation
Ā Mentor junior software engineers within the team and across multiple products
Ā Lead engineering practices alongside engineering manager
Required Skills
Ā Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact and negotiation
Ā Ability to manage many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment
Ā Experience with Relational databases (specifically PostgreSQL)
Ā Hands-on experience designing and developing in ReactJS
Ā Hands-on experience designing and developing in JavaScript (TypeScript) and Node.js
Ā Hands-on experience implementing, testing, and supporting Restful APIs
Ā Test Driven Development, test automation, CI/CD Ā AWS
Ā Product design, test and/or analysis experience
Ā Experience in Agile Development
