Music on our platform is not just consumed; it is experienced, expressed, and made deeply personal. As our Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team of engineers in building and scaling the core infrastructure that powers our category-defining application. You will oversee the development of intuitive features for music remixing, user interactions, and seamless integrations with music ecosystems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and innovation from the ground up. If you thrive on guiding technical teams to deliver impactful consumer products and want to shape the engineering foundation of a breakout company, this role is for you. You will manage the full software development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment, while mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative culture. Partner with product, design, and growth teams to translate user needs into robust, scalable systems that support viral features and network effects. Alongside this you will drive best practices in code quality, testing, and agile methodologies to accelerate iteration and minimize downtime. You will implement tools for monitoring, security, and performance optimization to handle growing user bases. This person will also recruit and develop a high-performing engineering team, promoting continuous learning and innovation. Finally, you will contribute hands‑on to critical projects, solving complex challenges in real‑time audio processing, data management, and cloud infrastructure. Compensation includes a competitive base salary ranging from $200,000 to $280,000 for U.S. -based roles, meaningful equity ownership, and comprehensive benefits.
