Software Engineering Intern

The Software Engineering Intern will build the next-gen platform to verify the origin, quality, and factuality of information, collaborating closely with ML and design teams to create impactful software. Responsibilities Build and deploy high-impact, intuitive, AI-driven web apps in React, Node, and Tailwind Develop top-requested features from our users on our dashboard, chrome extensions, and API Utilize product analytics to make data-driven product decisions Collaborate with our ML, design, and business teams to develop new product initiatives Wear multiple hats and work across the product stack Skills Comfortable building end-to-end experiences from backend to CSS +2 years of experience with modern web frameworks (Express, Next.js, Typescript, and React) +1 years of experience with databases (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS) Highly motivated to make positive societal impact Work with 5 hours of overlap with Eastern Standard Time Strong open-source portfolio Experience working in an early-stage startup environment Experience as a peer-edited writer Benefits Health, dental, and mental health benefits Hybrid work in Toronto and NYC offices Competitive salary Flexible PTO Regular company retreats Mentorship opportunities with our world-class team, advisors, and investors Wellness and learning stipend Company Overview GPTZero develops an AI detection platform that discerns the generated content as AI produced or human written.
