Software Engineer | Shopify Developer - Contract to Hire

We have an exciting opportunity here at MMLLC! Are you "THE ONE"? We are looking for a Software Engineer Rockstar to join our web development team! (Note: this will be a full time position and the work must be done by the one applying to the position, not someone at their agency. Our interview process involves a live coding session where the applicant must be able to share their screens and code a simple custom shopify section using Liquid, HTML, CSS and javascript) Responsibilities: - Create pixel-perfect websites from Figma designs to Shopify using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Create sections with custom code on the Shopify Dawn theme - Use VS Code and Shopify CLI for development - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code - Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve reliability and performance. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements: - Ability to learn quickly and adhere to company standards. - Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent teamwork abilities. - Strong communication skills. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. - Minimum of 5 years of experience with Git and resolving merge conflicts. - Minimum of 3 years of experience coding Shopify Liquid. - Minimum of 1 year of experience with Shopify CLI. - Experience creating and retrieving data using metafields and metaobjects.
