Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure payment solutions using C++ and Unix.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure the highest level of quality.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve and enhance payment solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers.
Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure consistency and maintainability of code.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks to project managers and stakeholders.
Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and plan software development tasks.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and optimize software performance.
Adhere to FIS's security and compliance standards.
Maintain thorough documentation of software designs and code changes.
Attend and participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
