Position Summary:
Bentley Systems is seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on pipelines and cloud orchestration to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and managing the systems that build, test, and deploy our next-generation infrastructure engineering applications. You will work closely with our software development teams to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud orchestration solutions. Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain our cloud orchestration platform to automate the deployment and management of our infrastructure.
Develop, manage, and optimize our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Utilize your scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate operational tasks and improve engineering workflows.
Implement and manage solutions for observability, monitoring, and logging to ensure the reliability, performance, and health of our systems.
Work in close collaboration with software development teams to integrate new services and applications into our automated pipelines.
Mentor other team members and share your expertise in cloud-native technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience in a Software Engineering, DevOps, or SRE role with a focus on cloud environments.
Strong experience with cloud orchestration and infrastructure as code (IaC) on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, with a strong preference for Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience working with Git or other distributed version control systems.
What would make you stand out:
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with web-based desktop application frameworks (Electron, Tauri, WebView2, etc.).
