Software Engineer - Node.js
Salary: $90,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: • 4-5+ years of experience in enterprise software development, system design, and architecture • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline; or equivalent experience • Proficiency in modern programming languages, particularly JavaScript (Node.js/React.js/Express.js/Fastify) • Extensive knowledge of database design (PostgreSQL) and best practices in data engineering • Proven experience collaborating within software teams using GitFlow workflows with multiple developers • Designing, constructing, and managing robust ETL processes • Practical experience with modern data warehousing solutions such as Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts including star/snowflake schema, data modeling, and OLAP/OLTP • Profound understanding of API development, healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7), and EHR/EMR system integrations • Experience working with contemporary DevOps methodologies such as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation • Strong analytical abilities and adaptability to fast-paced, agile environments • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance in healthcare IT • Capability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable healthcare IT solutions • Ensure enterprise platforms operate at high performance, reliability, and scalability • Create and implement APIs and integrations for seamless data interchange with EHRs, healthcare platforms, and third-party applications • Employ programming best practices in a HIPAA-compliant framework utilizing data encryption and modern cybersecurity measures • Collaborate closely with the engineering team lead and fellow Software Engineers to define and execute the technology roadmap Technologies: • API • Redshift • Azure • BigQuery • CI/CD • Databricks • DevOps • ETL • HL7 • JavaScript • PostgreSQL • React • Security • Snowflake • NodeJS • ExpressJS • Cloud • Support • Kubernetes More: We are looking for a full-time Software Engineer to enhance our client-facing system architecture and software development efforts.
