Although we are headquartered in Gibraltar, this is a full time, 100% remote position Work from anywhere!Position overview
This internship is an exciting opportunity for students who are still studying and eager to gain hands-on experience in the Software Engineering department of a fast-growing fintech company.
Key Details

Duration: 2 Months (July 6th to August 28th)
Location: While we support a remote setup, interns must be based in Gibraltar for the duration of the program.

What You'll Do
Over the course of the program, you’ll have the chance to work directly with our Engineering team. You will be responsible for a combination of daily coding tasks and ongoing technical projects, helping us build and maintain the tech that powers our platform. This role is perfect for students studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field who want to apply their coding skills to real-world challenges in the fintech space.
Responsibilities

Assist the team in writing clean, manageable code and participate in "code reviews" to see how professional developers improve their work.
Help us identify and fix small technical issues or "bugs" to keep our platform running smoothly for our users.
Get involved in bigger engineering projects, such as building new features or helping us improve our internal tools.
Gain hands-on experience with the tools we use every day (like GitHub, cloud services, or specific coding languages) and see how they work at scale.
Work closely with other developers and product managers to understand how a technical idea becomes a finished product.

Skills needed

You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field.
You have some experience with at least one programming language (like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++) through your studies or personal projects.
Problem-Solver: You enjoy breaking down a big problem into smaller, solvable steps.
Strong written and verbal communication in English, which is key for explaining how your code works and asking for help when you're stuck.
You have a genuine curiosity about how fintech software is built and a desire to learn new technologies quickly.
You take care to write neat code and double-check your work to ensure everything functions as it should.
Any experience with web development, databases (SQL), or version control (like Git) is a plus!
