You will work in an agile environment, directly impacting users in a rapidly growing, market-leading life sciences company.Veeva is not sponsoring H1B or supporting H1 transfers for this role. What You’ll Do Build scalable web applications utilizing open-source tools and technologiesDevelop key features for the OpenData US platformContribute to architectural decisionsSolve complex technical challenges working with large datasetsOwn all aspects of implementation for features from design to development, deployment to production, and support and maintenanceCollaborate with Product Managers, other Engineers, and domain experts to design and develop cutting-edge applications in life science Requirements 5+ years of experience building scalable and reliable web applicationsExperience with Python, and at least one major Python framework (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)Experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, Typescript, and React.Very good understanding of software design patterns, data modeling and storage using SQL and/or NoSQL databasesGood verbal and written communication and proven experience of working and delivering in an Agile environment.Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
