Software Engineer - Full Stack

This role involves working closely with our full-stack engineers and UI/UX experts to develop APIs, enhance our back-end RoR systems, and improve our ML-based dispatch platforms. In our fast-paced, data-driven environment, you will play a key role in developing new products and pushing new code every day. Responsibilities Work with a team of full-stack engineers to build and enhance products across the stack.Develop back-end Ruby on Rails dispatch applications and RESTful APIs.Collaborate with the UI/UX team to create new user experiences and extend web applications.Improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our real-time, location-based systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across our platforms quickly and efficiently.Stay current with new technologies and be eager to learn and apply new skills.Contribute to our agile development process, iterating quickly and pushing code frequently. Preferred Experience 2+ years of software engineering experience.Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, HTML, Javascript, and RESTful API development.Experience with real-time systems, location-based services, and/or telephony apps (e.g., Twilio) is a plus.Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis).Familiarity with system scalability, performance management, and agile methodologies.Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and project management software (Jira, Bitbucket).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
