Software Engineer -Full Stack

OverviewAt Edifecs/Cotiviti, you’ll join the Engineering team responsible for the design and implementation of a multi-tenant SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform that is transforming the healthcare space. Your primary responsibility will be the design and implementation of Edifecs/Cotiviti’s payer and provider solutions. Your ability to drive all aspects of development autonomously and proactively is a critical requirement.We primarily work with Java-based solutions and AWS cloud services.You will routinely work with our Product Management and Innovation teams to define and implement business requirements.You will routinely work with our Site Reliability Engineers to continually improve our infrastructure (IaaS), and security, build, and deploy pipelines.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in defining product level architecture and be responsible for designing component level architecture.Take ownership of features and components.Utilize test-driven development approach to deliver commercial quality code.Perform code and design reviews.Perform hands-on development and maintenance of software applications/components.Maintain and support current systems and ongoing programs.QualificationsB.tech/BE/MCA in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field requiredStrong Java development skills: 3+ years in commercial hands-on Java software development.Ability to work independently with some guidance.Ability to learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge, demonstrating the desire to stay in touch with emerging technologies.Working with at least one database platform (SQL Server, Oracle or DB2) is a must.Ability to understand and create Low Level Design document is a must.Good knowledge of XML processing (and related technologies) using java (or 3rd party libs) is a must.Knowledge of GIT / SVN / Maven is a must.Experience with Agile Development & Continuous Integration experience is a must.Experience developing distributed applications potentially with Scala / Akka or similar technologies is a big plus.Experience with Groovy / Drools is a plusExperience with Web UI development and java script libraries (jQuery, AngularJs, extJs, ReactJS) is a plus.Experience with analytics tools is a plus.Experience in Database or Object Modeling is a plus.Experience in contribution to open source projects is a plusWhat you’ll be working with:JavaSpring, Spring-Boot, Spring-Cloud, JPAAngularDocker Containers in KubernetesSQL ServerAWS Services, SQS, RDS, EC2, Commit, Build, Deploy, CI/CDOriginally posted on Himalayas
