Catch the ride!Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team and help build engaging, responsive web applications using modern technologies like NextJS, React.js, HTML5 and CSS3.ResponsibilitiesWork in collaboration with the senior/principal front-end members in Autodoc to architect efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems that drive complex web applications with independent release cyclesWork in the implementation and maintenance of front-end applications in the context of a domain - React.js, TypescriptPromote the use of reusable components and front-end librariesEnsure a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the teams to continually test, measure, and iterate on the results of their workCode-reviewProvide expert-level support and technical mentoring to the teamContribute to establishing governance processes and guidelines around the team and domainDrive the team from a technical perspective, keeping yourself current with new technologies, in alignment with Autodoc’s technical strategyCollaborate with multiple interdisciplinary teams within Autodoc to understand the business context and create scalable solutionsJob Requirements3 years+ of experience as a front-end software developer (primarily React.js)2 years+ of experience with NextJSFluent in English (minimum B2)High-quality organizational skillsTechnical mindset with great attention to detailExperience with cloud architectures - Google Cloud PlatformStrong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problemsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environmentGood knowledge of core JavaScript (ES6+) and ReactGood understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including SASS;Understanding and practical experience of REST APIKnowledge of modern Web APIsExperience in creating Unit tests & e2e testsBe familiar with linters, semantic code/webpackExperience in using Agile, SCRUM and Waterfall methodology to deliver the projects (JIRA)Understanding the software life cycle, teamworkExperience with Git and the ability to use it properlyExperience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale software applications - OOP and SOLID principlesExperience with BDD is valuedWhat do we offer?Annual vacation of 25 working days and 1 additional day off on your birthdayMeals Allowance (8 euros per working day)Healthcare Insurance AUTODOC Corporate Discount (1,080 Euros per annum) Learning & Development (over 650 courses on soft and hard skills on our e-learning platform) Free English and German language classes (after probation period)Flexible working hours and hybrid workJoin us today and let’s create a success story together!Originally posted on Himalayas
