Software Engineer, Creator Translation

Responsibilities Tackle and solve challenging full-stack problems that touch the client, game engine, backend services and machine learning models autonomously Own product verticals and projects from implementation plan, execution, launch, and quick iteration based on feedback Work closely with product, design, and partner teams to maintain high execution quality and pace Proactively gather community feedback and respond swiftly to their needs, ensuring our products evolve to deliver exceptional value Skills 1+ years of industry experience Designed and led implementation on highly scalable and reliable distributed backend systems Understanding of or hands-on experience in microservices Proficient in one or more programming languages (C#, C++, Go, Python or similar programming language) Deep understanding of C++ is a plus Familiarity with game engine is a plus Familiarity with machine learning is a plus Curious and passionate about industry trends and new technologies, such as AI and agents Able to apply industry trends and new technologies to practical problems Able to collaborate in cross-functional and cross team projects to deliver the most curated technical solution Willing to take the long view to drive collaboration and build the systems Benefits Equity compensation Company Overview Roblox is an online gaming and entertainment platform that offers a shared digital experience that brings people together through play.
