Collaborate with architects to help application teams with light refactoring and moving their applications.
Provide support in developing within a cloud-native environment.
Assist in translating coding practices to the target environment, particularly Azure.
Fill any resource needs that application teams may have from a modernization perspective.
Offer guidance on lightweight refactoring, such as moving from SQL Server to SQL platform as a service.
Skills Required:
Experience in application modernization, particularly with .NET, Java, Springboot.
Knowledge of DevOps practices is a bonus.
Familiarity with Azure cloud architecture and development.
Ability to communicate effectively with application teams and provide guidance. Additional Information:
The application engineer will support the application teams through the mechanics of the migration process.
They will help impart knowledge on specific Azure services and ensure the application teams can move through their software lifecycle and go to production.
This role is essential for ensuring the successful modernization and migration of applications to Azure while providing necessary support and guidance to the application teams.
