Responsibilities
? Assist in the development of tools and processes to support AFRL Eglin Digital Engineering and Digital Transformation initiatives.
? Develop, test, and maintain software applications across multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C, JavaScript).
? Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalable and reliable application deployment.
? Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
? Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment and management of infrastructure.
? Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible to manage and provision data pipeline infrastructure.
? Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
? Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, infrastructure, and deployments.
? Document software development and infrastructure processes, including design specifications and test plans.
? Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
Qualifications
? 3 years of experience in DevOps, software development, and containerization.
? Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
? Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C, JavaScript).
? Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
? Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
? Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
? Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
? Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and technical leads.
? Experience working in an Agile team environment.
? Familiarity with DevSecOps processes.
? Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
? Experience with SQL or other database technologies.
? Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.
Desired Skills & Experience
? Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
? Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science).
? Master's degree in a technical discipline.
? Knowledge of software development best practices and industry standards.
? Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions.
